With the Board of Trustees anticipating this transition due to Andrew Card’s agreement to lead the institution for a limited duration, they named Kim Mooney, the institution’s current provost and vice president for academic affairs, as the institution’s sixth president. When Mooney began her tenure as president on August 1, 2016, she was the first alumna and woman to lead the institution.
